Description: Model 1882 Officers Epee. This is a precursor to the U.S. Model 1902 all Officers saber. Note the hilt has many features in common with the pre WWII 1902 Sabers. If you collect U.S. swords, this is a must have. Have you ever wondered why U.S. saber chains are often marked "Made in France"? It was designed for this sword. Manufacturer/Retailer: Unknown. This sword is unusual in that it is unmarked. Hilt: Plated brass? Non-magnetic. Grip: Horn with an incomplete wire twist. Blade: Double edged with the typical staggard full length fuller. Blade length- 33+ Inches Scabbard: Plated steel. Finish is rather worn, t are minor dents and bends. These do not interfere with the blade. Condition overall: Good Notes if any: Not the wear on the drag. must have been worn by rather short fellow. Questions? Ask. Multiple swords will receive a discounted UPS. Will need a street address.
