Up for bid is a demitasse cup and saucer in the ''Violets and Daisies'' pattern by Syracuse China, as used by the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad (sorry, the cup and saucer holder in the photos is not included). This set is in excellent condition. Very minimal utensil wear to the saucer. Does not distract, but I mention for accuracy. Otherwise, no chips, cracks or stains. The cup is about 2 3/8'' tall and about 2 2/8'' in diameter. It is marked Syracuse China U.S.A. and has a date code of 98-G, which I believe dates it at 1969. The saucer is about 4 5/8'' diameter. Also marked Syracuse China U.S.A., but with a date code of 96-I, which I believe dates it at 1967.
