This auction offers an outstanding Syracuse China dinner plate made for the dining cars of Missouri Pacific Lines. This is the famous "State Flowers" design with a train engine in the center surrounded by the flowers for eleven states separated with small engines. The plate measures 10 1/2" across. The back has the maker's green "O.P. CO. Syracuse China". I believe this piece dates to the 1940s--any info appreciated. The plate is in excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or signs of wear. T are a couple of tiny transfer imperfections--not noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. This hard-to-find plate is sure to be a welcome addition to a collection! The cost of U.S. shipping and very careful packing varies with your postal zone. Please see the USPS estimate above.
