This listing is for one (1) double-handle cream soup bowl and one (1) dessert plate that can be used as a saucer in the Suzanne pattern by Syracuse China, U.S.A. This popular pattern is featured on page 264 of Harry L. Rinker's Dinnerware of the 20th Century: The Top 500 Patterns. This pattern, designed by Pascal L'Anglais, was introduced in 1938 and discontinued in 1970.

These pieces are ivory-white fine china on the Federal shape with embossed ribs on the rim of the underplate and on the inside wall of the cream soup bowl. The plate and bowl are decorated with scattered small flowers in blue, yellow, and pink. The scalloped rims, base and handles are accented with gold. The cream soup bowl is 5 inches in diameter at the flared rim and 2 1/8 inches tall. The plate is 7 1/4 inches in diameter.

This cream soup bowl might be a nice accent piece to use with other patterns of plain ivory-white and gold china dinnerware such as Syracuse Bracelet or Cornwall patterns

This cream soup bowl and plate are in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. T are some utensil marks on the plate seen with reflected light. T is some slight wear on the gold trim with only 5-10% loss of the gold.
