Roll back the clock to 1938, and imagine being served your fish dinner on this stunning 3-color airbrushed oversized 11-1/4" SYRACUSE CHINA restaurant dinner plate. Pattern number Sy126. In 1937, Syracuse developed an airbrush stenciling technique know as "shadowtoning". These plates are highly sought after by collectors today. Condition: Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Very clean and shiny. A few light stray utensil marks -- VERY few. Age: 1938. We welcome questions. FAST SHIPPING. A word about packing and shipping: We have allowed for box size that will provide adequate protection, as well as for sufficient packing materials. We use both bubble wrap, which we tape into place, as well as peanuts for cushioning. USPS raised rates A LOT in May, especially for packages going from one end of the country to the other. We are located in Wilmington, Delaware, which is almost as east as you can get, so you may see a higher shipping cost if you live in California. We usually offer 3 shipping choices, because the rate that is most economical for you now depends on a complex combination of distance plus package weight AND dimensions.
