Up for your consideration is a neat Syracuse Ornamrntal Co., Inc, Syroco eight day jeweled clock that is key wound. This clock is made of some type of synthetic material, possible plastic or plaster and has been washed in shinny gold. It is in very fine condition with strong coloration. I don't see any areas w the gold wash is worn or missing. The clock face opens in the front and the clock needs to be wound with a key. I do not have a key. I did wind the clock using a small allen wrench and it worked fine. I didn't wind it tight so it did not run for eight days, however, it did keep close time during the time it ran. The face opens and closely very securely and t is slight rubbing, on the underside of the clock face from opening and closing the face. It is part of the normal wear of a clock of this nature. The back of the clock is marked with the Syracuse company trademark. T is scratching to the back of the clock, on the movement case, from hanging it on the wall with the attached hook. The clock is a wonderful "starburst" shape and has that late 50's early 60's look about it. It measures about 14 and 1/2 inches round and weighs about 4 pounds, before packing. This is a super nice vintage wall decorative clock. This item will be well packaged for safe shipping. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 for Priority shipping and handling.
