Staffordshire T.J. & J. Mayer 19th c. Transferware"Florentine" T.J.&J. Mayer was only in business for a short time, from 1843 - 1855, so dating this piece was rather easy... It measures 10 X 13 inches. A transfer detail... A look at the bottom... T are stilt marks, and stains and the usual assortment of little flaws, but no chips or cracks.
