Triang TT T97 4-6-2 "Britannia" chassis with open spoked wheels (see pics).Bought in the late 1970's to cut and convert for a 3mm scale Gem "Royal Scot" kit, but was never used (it seemed a shame to cut it about so the "Scot" was left untill I was ableto buy an etched chassis for it).The chassis has been track tested and runs well in both forward and reverse directions. It comes in it's original Triang box (labelled T97 chassis only). It will be well packed for posting. Many thanks for looking. Have just added another picture to show the label on the box (it is not a printed box-endone, but handwritten either at Triang or the shop where I bought it). It was bought as a Triang spares part along with some other Triang items and Bec and Gem kits the shop wasdisposing of in the late 1970's (they were clearing out the last of their TT stock).I have added the extra pic as I wouldn't like anyone to be bidding thinking the label wasthe usual Triang printed box-end and bidding on that basis, so would understand if peoplewished to retract their bids as I would not like to think I had mis-informed them. The box itself is not like the standard Triang locomotive box and appears to be the type used to supply spares for repairs which may explain the handwritten label.
