spanish colonial style tabernacle and chalice .
Beautiful tabernacle of cedar wood, marquetry (inlaid) in natural colors wood, and marfil.
It is beautifully decorated.
We can see in front Pacual lamb resting on the Bible, with the flag of the company of Jesus, JHS (Christ the Saviour of men), decorated, with leaves and dots, Kerubino an angel on top.
On the sides we see musicians angels (playing Trumpets) surrounded by flowers.
In the back of the tabernacle, we can see an inscription That says, Chapel Callapujyo Quispicamchi farm house, Cuzco, 1922.
The interior is decorated with a chalice with the body of Christ, and the initials JHS, in the interor of the door, a crucifix.
The tabernacle has an iron lock, in perfect condition.
It's a great piece. Perfect for use.
the wood is in perfect condition.
Inside we see a beautiful goldplated silver alpaca chalice.
This chalice is decorated with flowers and fruits, with the classic Spanish colonial style.
It has a paten decorated with the paschal lamb, the goblet has an inscription on the base that says "Familia Ferreyros Verme", wich is the name of the family who donated the chalice.
Everything is in perfect condition.
Its origin in Peru.

bottom, 9 inches. (22.9 cm).
chalice measures:
high, 10 inches. (25.4 cm)
base diameter, 4.55 inches. (11.5 cm)
cup diameter, 3.2 inches. (8.3 cm).
