Many years ago, I owned and operated a general line antique shop. Recently, I uncovered some items I had "put away" when the shop closed its doors. I have no reason to keep any of these things, so I'm offering them to any interested party. Rod L'Italien Over the years, as I was collecting oil lamps, I would set the best one's aside. The "Best" meaning, working condition, free of dents, stress cracks and corrosion. Good factory nickel was also high on the list. I have several of these lamps to list on E-Bay. The lamp listed came from that collection. Rod L'Italien This lamp has been restored to the original nickel finish, just as it was when sold in the early 1900's. It is still in oil condition, all of the components are in place and the wick chase operates smoothly. This lamp was never drilled or compromised in any way. It has been electrified without harm. It has a small halogen bulb with an in line hi-lo dimmer switch for 50 or 100 watts of light. You will have no problem reading with this lamp. It comes with its old wick and original flame spreader. The lamp does have some tiny dings and remnants of some denting but you have to look hard to see them. It is 6" wide (10" with a shade), 12" to the top of the gallery and 21" to the chimney top. It is in Very Good Condition! NOTE: The Tam-O-Shanter shade shown with the lamp is for display only and will be listed separately in this auction.NO RESERVE **IMPORTANT: We only charge actual shipping but the weight may change due to packaging and/or special requests from the buyer. Actual cost cannot be determined until the lamp sells and has been packaged. Please...DO NOT send payment until you receive the actual invoice with the correct shipping weight / packaging. We combine on multiple purchases. Thank you!** **After 35 years of collecting Victorian lamps, shades and parts, Rod L'Italien of Honor Student Lamps , has decided to drastically reduce his inventory. Parts for repair or restoration, patinated lamps for the purist, restored lamps for home or office, something for every level of lamp collecting and all accurately described. Everything will be listed under perfectlamps .
