This is a fabulous, large pedestal bowl made by Tabletops Unlimited China. The pattern name is Villa Grande which is a discontinued pattern. It appears to be made of pottery and stands approximately 4 1/2 inches high and measures a large 14 1/4 inches from handle to handle and approximately 12 inches not including the handles and is approximately 4 inches deep. It has a scalloped edge and nice, large handles. Background is a Beige or Almond color and design is Purple Grapes and Green leaves.There are no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing on this bowl. It is built well and solid. It is a handpainted item so there are variations in the consistency of the paint. The bottom rim has scuffing from surface contact.Aside from handpainted inconsistencies, there is some age/use wear to the border trim around the scalloped edge and the handles and to the leaves and grapes in spots. There are wisps of brush strokes on the finish that match the border color trim and there are less there now than I'm sure there were when it was brand new so it does have some age/use wear but has been well maintained otherwise and still shows wonderfully.I had it on my dining room table waiting to take photos and everyone that came in commented about what a beautiful bowl it was so, on casual observance, people don't scrutinize and will only notice how pretty it read more
