TAF CURTAIN UP

Look who's standing just all so full of herself! (Don't we know how foals can get!) is Doc Holliday's standing foal glazed to a lovely bright red roan blanketed appaloosa filly! With her striped hooves, mottled privates, lifelike eyes, shaded muzzle, nostrils, and inner ears, white socks and key-holed blaze, and of course her pretty white, spotted blanket, she's sure to be a winner in your collection. Being created with a combination of custom mixed underglazes followed by six different flowing art glazes (entailing several trips through the fire!) and finished with crystal clear glaze to protect her wonderful color, "Curtains" is the Test Model in the artist's Decorator Appaloosa series, and was thus meant to be more "artsy" than a "realistic." Either way, she is DEFINITELY one-of-a-kind, full of attitude (what an expression!) and will make a unique and lovely shelf horse at the very least. Classic sized at approximately 6 x 6" she will display anyw, is signed by the artist, and comes with a laminated certificate of authenticity. Guaranteed never to be repeated. (T are a couple tiny places on her w the underglaze is a little thin. Since she's an appaloosa the artist feels those places can easily be considered a part of the typical appy pattern, but wanted to mention them anyway.)

Two Acre Farms has in the past produced NAN qualifiers in cold-painted custom horses, has taken clean sweeps in fantasy divisions and won Grand Champion Custom in the novice division at the Peter Stone show, Breyerfest, 2001. The artist now takes up the challenge of bringing to life the same quality of animal, only using the more difficult technique of kiln-fired glazing.
