This Takahasi Hiroaki ( aka Shotei ) Original Wood block Print Has Been In My Family For Years and Is in Beautiful Condition.

It dates to 1936, I believe, and is titled "Crows on a Cold Night" or "Crows on Branch".

My father loved Asian design and art and purchased it, most likely, in the late 1930s. He was a graduate of the Universtity of Pennsylvania School of Fine Arts/Architecture in 1932. He spent many hours at the museum producing watercolors from Asian statues and other art. He gave the unframed woodblock print to me in the early 1970s and I had it framed. Unfortunately, I have no place for it now, as I am scaling down.

I would love someone to have it who will appreciate and care for it. The print measures 11.8 cm X 17.7 cm ( 7" X 4 3/4" ). The framed measurements are 11 1/2" X 9 1/4". It is tripple matted in black, gold and cork with an antique gold wood frame. The first picture I used for the eBay gallery is actually a picture from the Shotei galley on the internet. I had difficulty getting a great picture of mine because of the glass.
