This TAKAHASHI Bird ( Gold Finch ) I will call this BRAND NEW because it has never been worn. This is vintage early or late fifties. I purchased 16 of different bird species. I just kept them in my curio cabinet all these years and never had anybody wear or use them in any way. The colors are still vibrant nothing ever faded because they are lacquered over the beautiful paint colors. I thought many years back somebody would like to wear these pins but nobody in the family ever cared to wear them so I just kept them till now I am 81 years old and I figured it is time to sell to someone who would love to wear these beautiful pins. The dimensions are 1 3/4" x 3/8" x 1/2" ( Approx. ) I see one on Ebay that is used and selling for $145.00 and two are watching. I will start off with a good starting bid. Free shipping and I will ship Priority Mail which means you will receive it approx. 2 to 3 days. REMEMBER THIS PIN HAS NEVER BEEN WORN or USED IN ANY WAY. I do not believe anybody has these pins for over 50 years and never been worn. I am a rare person in the sense that I would buy something and keep it for decades then sell. I did this all my life.
