is a familiar Takashi Murakami theme, the skull, interpreted as a soft toy! "Black Dokuro" is the name of this sophisticated stuffed plush toy designed by Murakami for the Kaikai KiKi Co. The skull is covered with soft black plush fabric, has eye sockets that are a light grey, and the eyes are the familiar flowers so often seen in Murakami's art. The center of the flowers are yellow with painted red mouth and two small eyes. The petals of the flowers are a stiffened fabric, similar to felt, and are multicolored from dark blue to light yellow - the colors of the rainbow! T is also a nose made of plush fabric. This toy is new with two tags, with the Kaikai Kiki Company label sewn in a seam as well. One tag is in Japanese but reads "For ages 3 years and upwards" on the back. The other tag has the name Black Dokuro in English with the company address in English and Japanese. The skull is about 9 inches wide and 9 inches high, and is shaped so that it sits slightly tilted up.
