This is for four Talavera Mexican house number 1234. 3" X 6" These are hi relief and gorgeous. You can trim out with pencil tile to make "pop". I can send up to four for the same $5.99 shipping. I also sell the trim pieces to go around the numbers. If you want an assortment of numbers then just buy multiples of this and let me know in a message which numbers you really want. A little background on how I got into this was I used to export boxes and boxes of tiles and pottery from Mexico to my sister who lived in Italy. She would sell these tiles and also use them to make mosaics she sold in her art studio. When she passed away in 2005 I had all of her things shipped back to me and when I opened the cargo containers I thought I would just be selling through what was available as many of these patterns had long ago been discontinued since we did this in the 1990's and a lot of the patterns are ones she drew up and had made in Mexico. I started getting many questions about how many did I have of this or that pattern? Can I get more? Can I get trim? I contacted the shop where we used to buy our tiles in Mexico and the owners had now expanded to five shops and were one of the owners in a tile factory in Dolores, Hidalgo. They said they could resurrect the old patterns and continue making tiles for me to sell and a business was born. I still have a lot of her pottery and dishes and tiles I am selling but I also now have the means to sell in whatever quantity is needed. She approached him and asked half jokingly if he would give her a ride on his sailboat.He did and he took her around to all of the islands. He spoke little English and she spoke no Italian but there was something there.She had just come from a traumatic situation in the States. Her fiance had died suddenly and she was devastated.Paolo was the distraction she needed. She said he was a gentleman, old school, would not let her pay for anything and she enjoyed the quiet between them.This quiet grew into an unlikely romance and they married.Juli on her first day in Padova. No one had seen that smile in months. Working briefly as a nanny this is Juliwith one of her "charges". She was becoming a true Venetian.Paolo was an artist and did not own a camera. In those early days he must have painted Juli dozens of timeson their sailboat with him at the helm and Juli always reading.As wonderful as life was always sailing and reading Juli longed to work but did not have the proper papers.One day when she and Paolo were sailing down the Grand Canal the wife of a wealthy hotel owner fell into the Canal.Paolo jumped into save her and when the hotel owner said he wanted to reward Paolo he said, "Give my wife a job!"Juli began a job at the front desk of one of the nicest hotels in Venice and quickly became fluent in Italian, Venetian and French.On the side Juli taught a conversational English class and her classes were very popular because she taught using stories from thescandalous National Enquirer.
