The Talented Mr. Ripley, Patricia Highsmith 1955 1st Edition w/ DJ - VG ConditionThe good news is that the DJ for this rare book is intact with no price clipping. It survives with a slight tear under the "R" on the word "train" on the front. The back of the DJ is somewhat discolored from water damage. The discoloration is not severe.The book itself has a tight spine and has no writing whatsoever. The second half of the book and back cover reveals slight staining from water damage but no wavy pages, mold or detectable odor.There were some white marks on the back of the book when I first photographed it, but I found out that they were easily removable with a damp cloth. I have since rephotographed the back of the book to reveal the all black and shiny rear cover.While this is not a mint condition copy of this highly sought after book, it is a presentable copy and would suffice until the buyer has the means to acquire a better one,
