Up for sale is a book, "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" by Edgar Allan Poe. The book was published by George G. Harrap & Company, London and Brentano's Publishers, New York. I believe this edition was published in either 1923 or 1926. The illustrations in the book are by Harry Clarke one of the most famous book illustrator and artists of the early 20 th century. There are 32 full page illustrations, of which eight are in color and tipped in. The illustration at page 110 is detached, it's a black and white illustration. The cover has some edge and corner wear with marks here and there. The lettering on the spine is faded but still legible. Name and date written on first blank endpaper, otherwise clean inside. Six page, 346 - 352 have a few chips and tears in the outside edge, doesn't affect the text. It's 382 pages long, pages slightly yellow and the binding is loose.US buyers only, $6.00 shipping.Payment is due at the time of purchase.
