TALES OF SUSPENSE #55 (Marvel) from July 1964 : featuring 'The Power of IRON MAN' in .."No One Escapes The MANDARIN!" Plus 'Tales of The WATCHER' ..."The Sun Stealer!" And a classic early 5 page bonus feature about Iron Man. Fine- (5.5) copy with no significant defects. Could be graded higher because it lies nicely flat and tight with clean and bright front and back covers, and decent retained gloss. A slight tear around the top staple, however, and a small nick in the margin at the top left hand corner of the back cover, stops it being a F+ or better. Minimal creasing, no visible marks or other tears, sharp clean o/w to cream pages, and a nice complete spine with staples both fully attached. These very early Iron Man comics (this predates his first own title by 4 years) are scarce to find at decent prices, and Overstreet guides it at circa $55 or more in this condition. Low start bid, however, with just £1.40p for secure post and packing within the UK... and fair rate to abroad. Please compare with similar copies in similar grades being sold on eBay worldwide, as well as through local/national stores and dealers, collectors, conventions, major internet stores/dealers and other internet or postal 'auction' sites, before bidding, as I am confident I can provide the best and most cost effective investment or transaction for you.
