RARE TALIESIN DRAWING FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT 1952 ARCHITECT Description PLEASE READ THE DETAILS PLEASE NOTE-THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION ONLY WHICH WILL END ON TUESDAY 9/1/2009 Up for auction is a RARE ARCHITECTURAL BOOK about the TALIESIN DRAWINGS of FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT . This book was the first book that Wright actually wrote about his designs. The book was published in 1952 Wittenborn, Schultz. The book was part of a series called "Problems of Contemporary Art". The book shows many of the drawings for different customers of Wrights along with some details about the construction of that particular project. We will show the customer list so you can see how many projects are covered in the book. CONDITION - Book is in GOOD condition showing wear that is consistent with a 50+ year old softcover ex-library offering. It bears the usual marks of having been in a library's collection. The front cover is almost detached at the spine and the back cover has a portion missing. That being said, the interior is in excellent condition. Some light pencil marks on the title page, but no other markings, rips, or tears were found.As we are not experts on this item we do encourage the asking of questions prior to bidding. If additional pictures are needed, please feel free to ask. While we don't accept returns on a normal basis, we do strive to keep our customers happy and do everything that is reasonable if an error has been made in one of our descriptions.
