This official Smokey the Bear doll was made by Ideal in 1969 and still works. Pull his string and hear 12 different phrases like:
Hi, Im Smokey the Bear. See my ranger badge. Help prevent forest fires. Theres a whippoorwill. Dont play with matches. I love all boys and girls. Im a cuddly bear. The animals are my friends. Thats a robin. Cmon, give me a bear hug. I"m the fire fighting bear. I live in the friendly forest. Smokey measures approx. 12 inches tall with his hat on and is in mint condition. He comes with a ranger badge and belt and works without batteries. This doll also comes with a paper entitled Rights and Duties of a Junior Forest Ranger. The box is in excellent condition, but has the name Mark written on the top of the box. It also has one small tear in the paper label that is attached to the front of the box.
