TALL 22" Carved Wood Bust Sculpture of Woman / Female with Headdress - Bali DESCRIPTION - Tall (22 inches) carved wooden bust of a woman� wearing an impressive headdress. The type of wood used is unknown, and� it looks to have been either painted or stained black.� This bust is similar in style to the Bali / Indonesian wooden bust sculptures of such artists as A. Fatimah, however, this piece's origin & maker� are not known. It seems like repairs have been made - see "Condition" below for more details. This piece was acquired from an estate - age, type of wood� & details (including contry of origin) are not known - this piece is being sold "as is" MEASUREMENTS - approx 22" tall, approx 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" at base This piece weighs approx� 7 pounds � CONDITION - There seems to have been repairs made to this piece. It looks like a glue material was used to fill a crack in the base and along the left arm� & shoulder. There is also a repair noticable on the back side of the� headdress. This item may have been painted or re-painted over time� & there are signs of wear to the paint - most noticably� near the left arm/chest� area.� This piece was acquired from an estate and is being sold "as is".
