18th C, Chippendale red painted pine, tall case clock, Pennsylvania origin, swan's neck broken arch pediment top and tombstone shaped bonnet door flanked by full columns, eight day time and strike brass single weight movement, bird and floral painted iron dial with calendar. The throat has tombstone shaped door flanked by fluted quarter columns, the base has an inset panel with picture frame molding and center floral rosette, flanked by reeded quarter columns ending on ogee foot, all wood pegged construction, 90''H x 17''W x 12''D, missing columns on back of hood, old red overpaint, pediment molding has been shaved down. From a Litchfield Connecticut estate.
