Moving and cannot take my formal living room.
This auction is for the tall secretary. Federal style I believe? This is a lovely piece that completes the look of the living room. It is a 3-drawer, 2 glass door and one pull down door, with many little doors and drawers inside. It's solid wood, the drawers are dove tailed and it looks to be cherry, but it maybe solid wood with a finish that is really good. I cannot tell you the origin of the piece, or how old or who makes it. I purchased it from a lady on the Main Line in PA who was moving out of her home and didn't want to take her furniture. T are no tags or identifiers on it. It looks lovely in the living room. T are dings, nicks and scratches. It's either genuinely old, or just makes it look old! Doesn't really detract that much from the look it, but for full disclosure it has them. It has ball/claw feet, the shelves inside the doors are wooden and it is approx. 6'3" tall and 30 1/2 inches wide and 16 inches deep. Each drawer and door has a lock, however I do not have any keys. T are also 2 hidden compartments inside. Please check my other auctions, I have the rest of the living room listed separately. Please take a look it's a nice set - or if you prefer, each piece could easily work within your own set. Pick up only. Must be picked up by July 8.
