Taller De Grafica Popular TGP 12 Postcards Engravings of the Mexican Revolution This listing is for a complete set of rare unused postcards entitled "Engravings of the Mexican Revolution" printed by Taller De Grafica Popular Mexico 1948. The 12 postcards are wraped in a folded 4 page paper wrapper. The front cover reads "12 Tarjetas postales T.G.P. - doce obras de las 'Estampas de la Revolución Mexicana' México. and "Editado por 'La Estampa Mexicana'-1948. Dir: Apartado Postal 8367, México, D.F." The title is also displayed in English on the inside of the postcard wrapper: "12 Illustrated Post Cards T.G.P. - 12 Prints of the 'Engravings of the Mexican Revolution. Mexico." Indexes of the series collection with artist, title, medium and date, are included on the inside flaps of of the wrapper. Each postcard has the name of the artist on the back along with a brief description of the engraving. Artists represented : I Aguirre, L. Arenal, A. Beltrán, A. Bracho, F. Castro Pacheco, A. Garcia Bustos, L. Méndez, M. Yampolsky, A. Zalce. About the TGP "The Taller de Gráfica Popular ("People's Graphic Workshop") was an artist's print collective founded in Mexico in 1937 by artists Leopoldo Méndez, Pablo O'Higgins, and Luis Arenal.
