Beautiful Tamaya Sextant - Complete and Original!
This Rare Sextant was last fully serviced in 1982
Replacement of Index Mirror, Cleaned, Lubricated, and Adjusted
by Weems & Plath 222 7th Ave. Annapolis, MD.
It was appraised by them in 1982 at a value of from $500.00 - $800.00
and deemed by them at that time to be in Excellent Condition and Fit
for any Duty that was required.

Original Screwdriver
1 Eyepiece
3 Lenses
7 Colored Filters
Original Coated Adjustment Tool
Original Axillary Wiring for 12 Volt system
Paperwork Documenting Appraisal
Original Tamaya & Co. Certificate
Original Teak Dovetailed Box
with Unusual Slanted Dovetails
and Includes All 8 Brass Corner Guards,
Solid Brass Key Hole Protector Plate,
Solid Brass Hardware, Hinges and Lock.
All Felt is in excellent condition.
Solid Teak Box has No Cracks and only displays normal wear.
Paint and coating are in extremely good condition as you can see
in the photoraphs. It obviously has seen little use and has been
well cared for.
This Rare Tamaya Sextant would be a welcome addition to any Ocean Going Boat or Collection.
Will be shipped only fully insured and will only accept Money Order or
Certified Check (no personal checks) for this item. We do not support
