Gottlieb Alpha Target Pinball Machine I PLAYED THIS MACHINE THIS AFTERNOON AND ALL FEATURES WORKED!! I played through a full four player game with no problems at all!! THEN........... I TRIED TO PLAY IT AGAIN.......It wouldn't take a credit - finally did after the fourth try, then I noticed the player display bulbs weren't advancing, the end of ball sequence started acting up again. I mentioned in the listing below a small spot of chipping in the playfield near the top drop bank, this seems to be flaking of the paint, not really a chip. The chips are very small, the size of a pin head but still mentionable. The first coin mech has been bypassed to a credit button through the coin door - does work. I cannot stress how bad the flaking on the backglass is, it is throughout the whole backglass, in several areas. With all the above problems, I have changed the BIN price to a fair price in my mind. I have listed all the known problems with the pin to my knowledge. I WILL NOT PLAY IT AGAIN TILL YOU PICK IT UP!! Playfield looks great with only one noticable small spot of chipping, has been cleaned and shines like glass. The backglass is in bad condition, please note pictures, it has flaking throughout. The game plays great! It scores as it should and all drop targets work and all lights on playfield have been changed. Playfield plastics are complete, although some are cracked but not broken. Light bulbs in backglass need to be changed and reels need to be cleaned. The only known "issue" is that when the ball gutters, it tends to take a minute for the end of cycle - it doesn't always kick out the next ball immediatey. I know this is just a slight contact adjustment, I just play it as is. The coin door is dirty and needs a good cleaning, it has ever so slight pitting, but will clean up. The playfield glass is not original but fits perfectly. This pinball machine does have the metal back for the head and the original manual and schematics! Outside of cabinet is in good shape. Item must be picked up in Manassas Park, Virginia by August 22nd. I can store it till you get for no additional fee. This auction MUST be paid for within 24 hours of Auction End! The coin mech didn't want to register a credit, but it did after the second try. Cleaning of the contacts may be a sure thing to remedy the above problem? I guess. I like EM's but they can be a pain in my A$$! THIS IS AN AS-IS SALE!!!!!!!!
