TASCAM DX-4D 4-track DBX-I Professional Noise Reduction Unit (1 of 2) A perfect match for your TASCAM or TEAC Reel to Reel Machine (TASCAM is made by TEAC) The DX-4D internally expands and compresses the incoming signals to put a quieter, more constant level on tape where the frequency response is flatter, with far less distortion, print through and adjacent channel cross talk between neighbouring tracks. During Playback the unit removes unwanted noises. The DX-4D is an excellent 4 track DBX unit that was manufactured by DBX for TASCAM The unit has not been used in quite a while and has rusted on parts of the outer casing. Unfortunately I have not had the means to fully test this unit, although it does power on, so please keep this in mind before putting an offer in. ***Edit*** 1 of the pair has now sold so we only have one remaining.
