TASCO 4-12x40 Rifle Scope w/Adjustable Objective Lens. Duplex cross-hair with a fine-line range finder, Model TR412X40-1 Japan AO-59, 14 ½” long. Also has an adjustable Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC) from 100-500 yards. Eye piece for fine-line range finder is labeled Elk, Mule Deer-Sheep, Whitetail Deer-Bear and Antelope. Purchased this back in the mid 80’s and had it mounted on my Ruger 77, Win .270, for two years and replaced it with a Leupold. This has been in storage mainly for the fact I really never wanted to depart with it. It is super shape (outside surface almost looks new) with no dings or scratches only minor markings from the Burris rings used to mount the scope. All lens are clear and scratch free, everything is working smooth and all markings still look original (no fading or wear). A solid scope then and now. They just don’t make them like this anymore. Hard to fine these Japan models in this excellent condition. You will be very happy with this one. The needed statements I have to say: Hello. Thanks for visiting my auction.
