Below that is a description of this specific doll and its unique features."The Tattered Rabbit Farm, est 1893, is a quaint old fashioned centennial farm, located on the prairies of Illinois. Nostalgia blossoms on the farm with its beautiful countryside charming and old farmhouse and rambling gardens filled with fragrant herbs and a profusion of wildflowers. Our inspiration for several of our collections comes from living on the farm and sharing our primitive surroundings with an abundance of wildlife and an eclectic collection of farm antiquities....Our passion for collecting vintage fabrics, old quilts, antique buttons and post cards and our love for doll making is combined to create unique, one-of-a-kind folk-art dolls. The fabrics are tea stained for that old fashioned look.These collectable dolls are shown in folk art museums around the country including the Los Angeles Folk Art Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Tattered Rabbit collection is designed as family heirlooms and not intended for children.This highly prized doll is from a private collector who collected over 30 of these one of a kind Tattered Rabbit dolls that will be offered.This blue button eyed Raggedy Ann doll holds a little antique red leather coin purse in one hand and a little doll in the other hand. The red coin purse opens up with a unique metal expandable scissor opening with crochet attaching the leather & metal. The top of the coin purse has a raised spider or bug motif. She's wearing a printed blue dress with red flowers with yellow accents and a matching hair bow. Her tea stained white bloomers hang just below her red rick rack trimmed dress. There's an antique pink button and a Pine Grove dairy cap sewn on her dress. Just below the white scarf tied around her neck is a 5 point antique tin star. Her orange yarn hair is topped with a bow matching her dress.She is approximately 22" tall. Her left arm is signed by Toni Duhon 2001. She comes from a nonsmoking and no pet home.TERMS and SHIPPING:All sales are final. The photos are of the actual item and described in detailed.
