This is a VINTAGE VICTORIAN ERA CAST IRON , ORNATE WROUGHT LIKE DESIGN . It is a wall Mount Bill / Billing / Receipt / Order hook for an old business to keep track of daily sales. I have seen desktop hooks of similar use . I think as the days sales went on they hung / or stuck the paper / paperwork through the pointed nail like wire pin to keep them organized . It has the name " TATUM " cast into the back . I have seen these when a kid in stores or business places that used them for that purpose . It would be similar to a coathook / coat hook hanger except that it has a pointed tip like a needle wire that you stick or stab pepers over for hanging. It measures about 5 3/4 by 3 5/8 inch with a 5 5/5 inch wire attached to it . Very good condition with a Guitar / harp like wrought iron design . Unsure of age but may be from late 1800 or early 1900 . Would be nice for anyone who collects old cast or wrought hanger items or business related tools or even could be used today .
