Welcome to The Mexican Silver Shop Specializing in Vintage Mexican, Peruvian, and Native American Silver Taxco Sterling Necklace Description: What a real treasure this gorgeous sterling & alexandrite necklace from Taxco Mexico is. The pendant is large, see the photo with my hand for perspective. These large pendants are sometimes called "perfume" pendants because t is a hole in the back to insert a perfume soaked cloth and then the cut away areas in the front release the smell as your body warms the perfume. The stone in the pendant is just beautiful; t are electric pink, red, maroon, and purple flashes of light deep within it and it really sparkles. Mexican alexandrites are lab created (natural Alexandrites are very rare and costly). A lab created gemstone is a man-made gemstone with the same appearance, chemical formula, and crystal structure as the natural gemstone. As you hold this read more
