Celebrating Over 11 Years on Ebay!!Taxco Owl Pin Description: Fantastic sterling silver, mixed metal, and mosaic owl pin, circa 1955. A wonderful piece, showing the intense gaze of the face of an owl peering out. Metals are silver, brass and copper, stone is azure-malachite. Just a super piece! The eagle 36 used in this pin was used exclusively by Reveriano Castillo, Sigi Pineda, and Salvador Teran according to Hougart's standard on Mexican hallmarks. Rolling safety clasp works well. A solid and substantial piece. Hallmarks : Mexico Sterling Eagle (36) Size : 1 3/8" Across Condition : Excellent History: A very skilled craftsman has to produce this type of jewelry which not only has varying sorts of metal in it, but also inlaid stone.
