This gorgeous vintage Mexican sterling silver tea or coffee set was purchased in Taxco around 1970. It consists of four pieces, a tea or coffee pot, a creamer, a covered sugar bowl and the tray. The coffee pot measures about 8 inches tall to the top of the finial, the sugar 5 inches tall and the creamer is 4 inches tall to the top of the finial. The tray measures about 15 1/4 inches long not counting the handles and 12 inches across. In total, the set weighs well over 5 pounds coming in at 2460 grams on a digital postal scale. The set is in excellent condition, although the tray has a good bit of scratching and a few small dings. I have included a closeup of this. I have also included a closeup of the creamer in order that you can see the detail of the base and handles of these pieces. The tea pot, sugar and creamer are marked with the eagle assay mark with what looks like the number 166 in it, the initials R. J., 925 and Hecho en Mexico. The tray is marked G. Olvera, 0.925 M, Hecho en Mexico, D.F. Please email any questions. I require insurance on all purchases and this will be reflected in the shipping cost. I WILL ONLY SHIP THIS SET TO CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESSES.
