Welcome to The Mexican Silver Shop Specializing in Vintage Mexican, Peruvian, Native American Silver and Related Objects .....sophisticated elegance...... When I first saw this sterling silver necklace from Taxco Mexico, I was sure it was the work of Sigi Pineda because of the use of etched sterling beads in the necklace. While the necklace is artist signed, it is not Sr. Pineda's mark; but the quality and design of this piece is his equal. The necklace features alternating sterling silver beads; one etched and then the other plain to make this necklace unique and very interesting. The beads are strung on sterling silver chain and the necklace closes with a well working slide in clasp. This is a pretty piece and looks great at the throat. The necklace is substantial and well made at 62 grams of silver.
