Taxco Sterling Pin This auction is for a vintage Taxco sterling silver Holiday pin attributed to Taxco, Mexico jewelry designer Damaso Gallegos (1890-1980). This beautiful piece features a sprig of holly and berries with three dangling, ringing bells. The bells make a soft melodious ring upon movement. This is a very well crafted, heavier piece of Mexican sterling jewelry. The reverse is marked with "STERLING TAXCO", the #3 Taxco Eagle mark, "MEXICO", "925", and what looks to be the initials "BJ". The pin measures approximately 3" high and 2 1/2" wide. The condition is excellent with no breaks, dings, etc. The secure closure functions perfectly.
