I used this recorder in my environmental module class. Students could actually "see" the barometric pressure change to weather patterns.It comes complete with a starting supply of 10 recording charts and ink, everything you need to get started! Additional charts can be easily purchased online. The recording range measures 29 to 31inches of mercury. Charts provide weekly record of atmospheric pressure changes. Fully adjustable for any altitude up to 10,000 ft. Calibration is easy by adjusting to your local U.S. Weather Bureau reports. Plastic base and clear cover. Operates on 110V.
