Offered is a rare chocolate pot by Taylor Smith & Taylor from their Lu-Ray Pastels line. This color is Persian Cream, which is a soft yellow. These pots were only made for one year, 1939. It has the Lu-Ray backstamp on the bottom (date code February 1939). Great color and gloss. There are 2 glaze pops and tight crazing, but no chips. The crazing is also on the inside of the pot. The lid has very dark crazing on the knob. It is not a crack, as I do not feel any edges. Please look at all of the pictures. I have other pieces of Luray available, so stock up now! All will be packaged well to insure their safe arrival. Insurance is included, just in case the unexpected happens. Due to the value of the piece it will be shipped signature required for pickup.
