Beautifully glazed orange and green decorative, teapot/lid, sugar bowl/lid, creamer, salt and pepper shakers. All are brightly colored orange with green decorative handles and designs. Bottom of each piece is stamped in black: MADE IN JAPAN. The Teapot, Creamer and Sugar set also has an emblem stamped on the bottom along with made in Japan. These three items are located in the book: Occupied Japan Collectibles Identification and Value Guide by Gene Florence on page 200. The teapot with applied handle measures: 4.5 inches tall; measurements from handle to spout is: 9.5 inches; Base measures 3.7 inches in diameter; The sugar bowl with applied handles measures: 3.5 inches tall; base diameter measures 2.7 inches; opening diameter measures: 2.5 inches in diameter. The creamer measures: 3.4 inches tall; base diameter measures: 2.5 inches; Both shakers are unique because the largest one measures: 2.4 inches tall and the smaller one measures: 1.5 inches tall. Both of the bases measure: 1.4 inches in diameter. The large shaker was used for pepper and the smaller one was used for salt.
