Technics RS-1506 4-Track 2-Channel Reel to Reel Tape RecorderThis is a beautiful example of a vintage RS 1506.T are two missing plastic knobs on the lower right levers. They are easy to replace. The lever work perfect and work 100%. This is just a cosmetic issue and replacement knobs are easy to find and cost about $5 each. They slide on and off easy, thus they are easy to lose when moving the decks around. When I bought this reel about 6 years ago, it came missing the two knobs and I never replaced them. The faceplate on this reel is very clean, with no large scratches or dings.The head mechanism was sent to JRF Magnetic for relapping. / The cost is about $300 to relap heads. This means the heads are in PERFECT condition for recording and playback - better than new condition. GEM MINT. Full documentation from JRF Magnetic will be included.
