Tecumseh No. 12 Bailed-Handled Griddle, Cleaned and Seasoned.
The Cast Iron is in excellent condition; it sits flat on the stove without rocking and t are no cracks, scratches, or carbon deposits. The lines in the first photo are not scratches but factory casting marks. The cooking surface is flat except for a minor dimple in the center that appears to be part of the factory grinding process and is evident in the second photo. The surface is clean but with some very minor pitting at the 12 o'clock position that is barely perceptible in the second photo below and magnified in the linked photo. The back is quite clean with no pits but with a few of the usual factory casting marks. The cast iron was thoroughly cleaned of old carbon deposits, coated with cooking oil, and seasoned the old-fashioned way in the oven of my vintage Glorious No. 1220 wood-burning cookstove . The diameter of the griddle is 11.8 inches and is very similar to a Griswold No. 12 griddle. This is a very nice griddle. The cost of postage (Continental US) will be either that provided by the shipping calculator or $9.60 (flat-rate box with confirmation), whichever is lower. is the not-so-fine print: Buyer pays actual cost of shipping as shown with a $0.65 confirmation charge (but no handling charges) in the shipping calculator. Insurance is extra and optional. Money order, cashier's check, or Paypal payment results in immediate shipment. International buyer must Canadian buyer may also pay with an international money order Drawn on a US Bank in US Funds. Personal check results in 10 business-day delay prior to shipment. Feedback will be delayed accordingly. New-York state buyer must pay 8% sales tax or send a resale certificate. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close unless prior arrangements are made. Unless otherwise stated, refunds minus shipping will be made for items returned within 3 days of receipt with the following conditions: I am notified first by email. The item is returned in the same condition as received. The item has not been switched. If so, it will not be returned and will result in negative feedback. Refunds will include shipping both ways if I can be convinced that I made a serious error in listing.
