Cherokee Knife Maker, Ted Miller is an American Indian Artisan, of Miami-Peoria-Cherokee heritage. He has won over fifty significant awards. He carves images of his heritage and culture from stories passed down through his ancestors.Ted makes the handles for his knives from natural shed Deer and Elk Antler enhanced with semiprecious stones such as turquoise, coral, and onyx. The blade of the knife is hand-shaped, sharpened, polished and heat-treated from 440C stainless steel, 56-60 Rockwell.All Ted's knives are shaped and balanced to provide a perfect grip for the sportsman as well as the ultimate in arts acquisition for the collector. Some other handles may be similar in nature or design but each is an original piece with no two being exactly alike. The knife is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
