TED NUGENT (AUTOGRAPHED) GOLD RECORD AWARD For the hit album "TED NUGENT''.The plaque says "Presented To WWWW-FM to Commemorate The Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the EPIC RECORDS Long-Playing Record Album "TED NUGENT ".The autograph reads "To All My Fellow Michigan Rock n' Roll Doggies! "Derek St. Holmes - Keep on Rockin".The outside dimensions of the frame ....20 3/4 inches high by 16 3/4 inches wide. The wooden frame is gold speckled & in GOOD Condition with several spots where it is quite bashed in. It has double glass..where we (in the 80's) covered the autographed glass with another glass. The award itself is in EXCELLENT Condition. The 'all-over' condition would be VERY GOOD. This award, along with 2 others, was purchased from a former employee of WWWW-FM (Detroit) in the 80's when the station changed to a country format. It has been on display in our store since then.In 1988, Ted Nugent, who was on tour with Kiss, came to our town..we took this award & Ted signed it (shown in photo..also in photo, Dave Kisweiney -bass, my wife & son). Derek St. Holmes was on this tour & signed it also because he had played on this record. We built a plywood crate to ship it in ANOTHER INTERESTING PIECE OF MUSIC HISTORY FROM THE LEGONDARY 'RECORDINGS AND MORE' MEMORABILIA COLLECTION read more
