Teen-Age Parade # 33 (Canadian White Edition of unknown issue of Brenda Starr Comics) - GGA / Newspaper Comics From The Golden Age ! Teen-Age Parade # 33, circa 1949/1950 (Canadian White Edition of unknown issue of Brenda Starr Comics) - VG 4.5 's a comic that is unusual in the sense that Brenda Starr comics was taken over by a Canadian comic book publisher in 1948 (Superior Comics), yet this issue reprints one of the Brenda Star issues of either the Four Star Comics versions or the Superior versions. Not sure if any lawsuits were involved but seeing as these were considered disposable at the time, I don't see anyone going through all that trouble. Having said that, this is a decent issue of fast talking, sweet dressing and curvaceous red-head Brenda Starr , reporter for The Flash newspaper. Created and drawn by Dale Messick . Nice GGA. Cover art by: Seems to be a photo-cover and although I can't place it, it seems to be one of the generic covers that Bell Features used on tsome other Atlas / Marvel issues. Interior stories are: - Assignment Preferred, featuring artwork credited to Dale Messick in which Brenda wants to do some serious reporting rather than the birth notices.
