TEISCO 1960s DUAL-PICKUP SOLID-BODY ELECTRIC GUITAROWNED BY MARK LINDSAY, FORMER LEAD SINGER OF PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS This is not a "cheapo" Strat copy like you're used to seeing. Nicely balanced, heavy body. This was found at a music store in Tucson and had never been sold before. Comes with soft-shell case. There's no decal on the headstock but this is clearly a Teisco. Many Teiscos in the 60s and 70s were destined to be re-branded with other names and never received their headstock emblems. This piece is in great shape but has a couple of small pits and one ding in the finish. The body is very lightweight and small. The neck is steel-reinforced. The whammy bar is present and accounted for (unlike many Teiscos!) and works great. Action is a bit high. This is easily adjusted, or you can leave it as-is and it'd make an excellent slide guitar. It's perfectly playable as-is. Check out the video linked below, and note that my fingers aren't bleeding. ;) After considerable research, I haven't been able to locate a model number for this one. It may not even have a Teisco model number, since it was apparently destined for re-branding.
