Up for auction is this exceptional ArtDeco clock by Telechron/General Electric, model #357, called the "Apollo or Beau". The Clock looks great, as seen in the photos. The face has some marks, but still shows really well, and highlights that great hour hand. The case is shiney, and has been repaired internally...and strengthened inside in the lower corners (These clocks are know to have cracks t It was designed by Harry C Richardson in approx 1930 (thanks Mr Linz). It has a new black rayon power cord and it's original bakelite plug on both ends of the cord, and is ready for service. These clocks rarely come up on auction in any condition...and with only 6,588 sold, and most ending up in landfill, it's a great opportunity to get a special piece of art deco history. The clock measures 4" across, by 7 1/2" tall, 4 5/8" wide, and 3 5/16" deep. This fine running clock is in beautiful condition (see photos) and runs quietly, and to time.
