Thank you for looking into our auction of a VINTAGE TELECHRON INDUSTRIAL / SCHOOLHOUSE CLOCK MODEL #1H1308 BY GENERAL ELECTRIC. This is a used clock, but it still runs well, keeps time, and is very quiet doing its job. The bakelite bezel has a piece missing from it, and there are some very fine paint drops on it, but you probably won't notice those drops, especially at a distance, because they are so few and so fine. There are some marks on the face / the dial of the clock, but they don't interfere in any way with the use of the clock or with checking the time. The glass cover over the face is good and clear, and although there are a few minor cosmetic scratches on it, they don't interfere with reading the clock. The clock has a red second hand which is easy to see at a distance. It also has a "red eye" that lets you know if there has been a power loss. On the back of the clock you see the back side of the face, which is all metal, and is screwed onto the bakelite bezel. There is a good sturdy bracket for hanging the clock, and the bezel has two grooves, one in the top and one at the bottom to allow the cord to pass through. The motor works well and quietly, and it is covered by a bakelite cover which is in fine condition. The extra long cord is also in fine condition, and looks like it was changed not too long ago. All in all, this read more
