T This receiver was manufactured in 1956-57. I have listenedto a lot of old Radios in my Time and I personally rate this The Finest Tube Radio of all time. It features an EL84 based push pull power amplifier stage with over sized output transformer. It has a total of six speakers, including two large Dortmund Alnico V woofers, two midrange drivers and a couple of high quality electrostatic tweeters. This Opus 7 is the version made for the US market with full FM coverage (88-108 MHz). German versions only tune up to 100 MHz. It is finished in the more desirable "Modern Style" The unit is in Very Good Condition & has very moderate wear from normal use over the years. Knobs and pushbutton are shiny and very clean. Dial glass is perfect. I personally own 3 of these I am a great lover of Jazz and Wow! You've never heard Jazz until you have listened to this Baby. I Really Hate to see this jewel I still have 2 more 1 Blondie and of course my Old Beater that still sounds great. Denny Lee Williams
