Offered is another rare image from the Telluride, Colorado, mining era. Oversize cabinet type photograph is titled Alta Tram. Embossed logo in lower right reads Byers Telluride, Colo. Lower left in photo reads Byers Photo. Image is very clear, showing a miner standing in a tram bucket as it winds down to the mill below. Photograph measures 12.0 x 10.0 with hard backing, photo itself measures 8.0 x 6.0. Corners and edges have small holes and wear as shown. Image has small stain in middle background as shown. Very clear photograph throughout. Great image of a miner in transit. The Alta Mines were located on the ridge above Telluride, adjacent the Mountain Village Ski area of today. Thanks for looking.
