This is a miniature sized specimen of Tennantite (Copper Arsenic Sulfide) with native Silver and Bornite. T are numerous Tennantite crystals with tetrahedral faces grown together in a tight cluster. Atop these intergrown crystals are blebs and ropes of Silver as well as a dusting of blue and purple tarnished Bornite. The backside is not as busy with Bornite and Silver as the top, so the form of the Tennantite is better viewed from this side. This Tennantite with Silver and Borntie specimen measures 1.7 inches by 1 inch by .8 inches. It weighs 1.2 ounces, or 33 grams. It is from the San Martin Mine, Zacatecas , Mexico .
